I'm writing a D&D manual which I'm distributing to friends and putting on DA for review. Do you mind if I use this pic(with appropriate citations, naturally) for the leader of the Guardians of the Timeline?
STFU!! YOU DIDN'T MAKE THAT!! *takes it and shoves it in pocket and runs away!!* presents it to Christian "pssh.. look what Nick said he made, babe!" "baby.. that's old..." "SHUT UP I NEVER GET ON DEV ART ANYMORE!" "well maybe if you did you'd know whats going on instead of bringing me old news... *smiles*" "*is sad*" "*he hugs me* oh no baby, i love it too! Thank you for showing me!!" "You're welcome! I love it too!"
yeah... that's pretty much what's it like...
I totally turned that compliment into a dramatic, self centered, love story
oh, did you download those brushes I told you about???? This looks freaking awesome mannnn SERIOUSLYYYY DX!!! I'm totally impressed right now! Now for some crit cause that's what we're supposed to do for friends RIGGGGHHHTTT anyway, her screen right breast is significantly smaller than the left also, screen left leg is looking flat bc of the color, I think that if you made the core shadow darker you'd be set! Lastly, her body stands out against the bg really well, but her "wings" do not, maybe make them lighter and the bg behind them a little darker? IUNNOOOOO anyway. AWESOME MANNNN I LOVE HER!
Check you the hell out. You don't post stuff for a few months and come back all new and spiffy like a remodeled Corvette.
Awesome work, man. Your backgrounds are much more snazzy and jazzed up. Your details have become greatly refined. The work you did on her stomach shows that you've been paying a lot of attention to real-life images.
Superbly done. Is this for something in particular or is it just some work to better your skills?
Thanks man... it's always nice to know that progress isn't just in your head. Just doing it for the practice really right now. I still have a lot to learn and I have a nice three week break coming up to bridge some more of that knowledge gap. I started off the quarter not knowing how to paint really at all.
Cool. I see it like this, the more you practice and develop, the better it will all be in the end run. That way, whenever I do finish any one of my novel ideas that I got in the cooker chamber, I can blackmail you into working on some stuff with me in regards to it and it will come out awesome.
Well, I've been heavily working on one for a smidge more than a year, now. And, I get like halfway, then end up going back and doing more(subtle story changings, additions, omissions, etc). So, hopefully I can get this monster done sometime before the summer. Plus, I'm tinkering with two others but they are only in the skeletal stage.
